Is Flying Goose Sriracha Vegan?

People in Asia and Europe love Flying Goose Sriracha sauce, a famous condiment made from sun-ripened chili peppers. It’s a hit with many!

But how about those on a vegan diet?

Can they enjoy Flying Goose Sriracha as well?

In the following article, we’ll dive into the ingredients of Flying Goose Sriracha sauce to find out if it’s suitable for vegans.

Is Flying Goose Sriracha Vegan And Vegetarian?

Good news: it totally is!

From the original Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce to Sriracha Super Hot, Sriracha Blackout, Sriracha Mayo, and more – they’re all vegan-friendly.

So, whether you’re a spicy-food lover or prefer something milder, you’re covered.

Let’s have a quick peek at the ingredients, shall we? We’re talking chilli at 61% (nice and spicy!), sugar syrup, salt, garlic, water, and some acids like E260 and E330. Add in a flavor enhancer (E621), a stabilizer (E415), and a preservative (E202), and you’ve got a recipe for deliciousness. And the best part? All of these ingredients are derived in ways that make them vegan-friendly.

But… a little heads-up: if you’re looking at the whole Flying Goose brand, there’s one exception to keep an eye out for – their fish sauce.

Yup, that one’s got animal products in it, so it won’t be joining the vegan party.

Is Flying Goose Sriracha Mayo Vegan?

According to the product website, both the sachet and bottle variants of Flying Goose Sriracha Mayo Sauce are totally vegan and gluten-free.

Yep, that includes the Sweet Chili Mayo and Spicy Sriracha Mayo too.

They’ve got a mix of ingredients like water, chili, SOYbean oil, sugar, and some other stuff like distilled vinegar and modified corn starch, but all of them are sourced in a way that keeps them in the vegan-friendly zone. No animal-derived ingredients here!

Is Flying Goose Sriracha Gluten Free?

All Flying Goose Sriracha products are gluten-free, no doubt about it. Whether it’s the classic sriracha sauce or any of the other saucy varieties, they’ve made sure to keep the gluten out of the picture.

Now, I’ve got to mention, ’cause it’s only fair, there are a couple of exceptions in the Flying Goose lineup.

The Spicy Black Pepper Sauce and their Hoisin Sauce are the odd ones out, as they do contain gluten. So, if you’re keeping gluten off your plate, those two are probably best left on the shelf, but they aren’t sriracha anyways.

Is Flying Goose Sriracha Halal?

Flying Goose Sriracha isn’t officially Halal certified. But wait, don’t write it off just yet!

Even though it’s not stamped with the Halal seal, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s off-limits. Nearly all the ingredients seem to be within the bounds of Halal according to Islamic guidelines, so it might still be a-okay.

Why isn’t it certified, you ask? Well, it looks like the company might have skipped that step because they mainly cater to folks who don’t need to stick to Halal guidelines. It’s a business thing, I guess.

But if you’re serious about wanting to know if a specific Flying Goose product is Halal or not, you can always shoot them an email. They should be able to fill you in on the details.
